What if you could enhance your team’s leadership insights outside instead of in a classroom?
Leadership Walk
-
The premise: No matter your environment, your answers to questions such as “Who am I as a leader?” and “How do I want to lead?” are essential to establish credibility and ensure a team will follow you.
Any leadership team’s answers to these questions will differ depending on their environment. Nevertheless, leadership's essential needs are remarkably similar and any team can benefit from making explicit and aligning on their answers.
To help consider these leadership questions, my colleague Kerry Engler and I designed this half-day Leadership Walk. It allows you to explore your own thinking, discuss with your team, and expand the frame in which you do so by taking the experience outdoors instead of being confined to a conference room.
Initially designed for Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, the Leadership Walk can transfer to anyplace where there is a little room to roam and places for reflection and discussion.
In this experience you will:
- Reflect on your leadership crossroads;
- Rediscover and recommit to your personal core values;
- Reflect and share your Leadership Story in a small group; and
- Embark on a journey of personal growth and take your leadership to the next level through introspection and immersion in the outdoors.
If you seek something different for your team’s leadership growth, let’s talk about where and how we can go on a Leadership Walk together!
